I have been a midwife for 30 years so have a lot of experience! I have worked in the NHS on Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Antenatal and Postnatal wards in two large hospitals, and also as an NHS Community Midwife. I've done some midwifery teaching and I worked for a year in Uganda. I became an Independent Midwife 19 years ago following the births of our 2 children, Hamish and Fiona who are now 21 and 20. We live on the edge of Abbey Dore in southwest Herefordshire.
